Michael Bass, AIF® , Co-Founder and CEO

With over 20 years of experience across all aspects of corporate benefits consulting including plan-design, cost containment strategies and execution, Michael brings a seasoned perspective and full-service approach to every CBA client. Along with his outstanding team members, Michael has helped to grow the CBA agency into a multi-faceted employee benefits organization representing both small, privately owned and large public corporations, across a wide array of industries.


Richard Craft
, AIF®, CLU, ChFC , Co-Founder and President

Rick has more than 25 years of experience advising executives in small public companies and owners of closely held businesses. His focus is designing cost effective Employee Benefit & Retirement plans to attract, retain and reward employees.  Like his co-founder, Rick appreciates the need for clients to balance their corporate dollars across the entire employee benefits package spectrum including health and welfare, and retirement plans.


Lina McMillan
, Director of Client Services

Lina has been overseeing the CBA client service team for 15 years. As a long-tenured manager and service provider, she brings an invaluable level of industry knowledge to her work.  Her ability to manage service representatives and to problem solve day-to-day benefits-related service issues for CBA’s corporate clients is critical to our success and to our clients’ satisfaction.


Gwyneth O. Carrigan, Director of Marketing and Communications

Gwyn brings over 20 years of experience in client service, education, and management to Wealth Advisory Group. Previously, Gwyn spent ten years at The Vanguard Group in positions which ranged from developing new financial products to overseeing teams of customer service associates to educating investors. Over the course of her career, Gwyn has led well over 700 meetings on topics relating to personal finance, advising investors on a variety of issues including achieving retirement goals, understanding complex investment vehicles, and designing sound financial plans. As a project manager, her responsibilities have included developing new product marketing strategies, designing business processes, and overseeing systems implementation. Gwyn graduated from Rosemont College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and is a member of the academic honor society Alpha Sigma Lambda.


Kamison, Employee Benefits Consultant

Barry has over 25 years of experience specializing in corporate benefit planning and specifically retirement plans and health & welfare arrangements. He is a problem solver, always looking for unique strategies that can improve the bottom line, support the business owner and improve the overall employee experience. The strategies that Barry and CBA help to design and implement, reduce corporate liability, enhance employee participation, increase qualified plan contributions for the highly compensated and help companies to control health care costs. By utilizing risk management concepts and predictive modeling, Barry and the entire CBA team provide incredible transparency and cost containment systems never before delivered to small and mid-market employer groups below 500 employees.

 

Wendy Harrold, Director of Wellness Programs

Wendy has over 10 years within the Health & Wellness industry. Wendy’s background in Corporate America lends itself to understanding the demands and stresses of this environment. Prior to entering Health & Wellness, Wendy worked in the financial industry as a Senior Manager for 12 years. As a strategic partner within Wellness, Wendy’s passion for living well combined with her background in business affords our clients wisdom with their wellness initiatives. Wendy’s experience, credentials and team of professionals provide the resources to develop and deliver comprehensive prevention initiatives that support our company’s mission for excellence.

Lee Maxwell,CPA,CVA- Chief Financial Officer

Lee serves as our Chief Financial Officer for finance, budgeting and banking relationships. Lee has over 25 years of business experience where he facilitated the growth of the business, helped raise debt and equity capital, implemented strategic and tactical business plans and executed acquisitions and joint ventures. Lee has served as the CFO of a public company as well as several private companies. He is a resource to guide client companies in practical directions for successful growth and exit strategies. Lee has a MBA in Finance from the Wharton Graduate School of the University of Pennsylvania; a BA from Williams College, cum laude; served in the U.S. Navy; is an active CPA and CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst).
